Industrial Engineering and Productivity Research Center The Industrial Engineering and Productivity Research Center was established to bridge the gap between academic research and industry needs, integrating the department's activities with industrial sectors. Founded in 1991, the center focuses on conducting research projects and offering consultations in various fields of industrial engineering, productivity, and systems management. It obtained the principal approval from the Higher Education Development Council in 1993, and since then, has grown by employing a team of experts, including university professors and graduates, to enhance its scientific and administrative capacity. One of the center's key missions is to minimize the gap between industry and academia. The valuable experiences gained from projects managed by the center form an essential asset that contributes to the continuous improvement of its scientific and administrative capabilities. The primary areas of activity at the center include:
